DYNAMO is an interdisciplinary research initiative (VUB RERE, VUB ETRO, UZBrussel MENU, UZBrussel GER, UNL) aimed at developing a data-driven framework to optimize movement and nutritional strategies in the context of healthy ageing. By integrating physiological, behavioural, and biomechanical data streams, the project seeks to identify personalized intervention pathways that enhance functional capacity and prevent decline in older adults. The project brings together expertise from rehabilitation sciences, nutrition, geriatrics, and engineering to develop and validate scalable, technology-supported solutions that can be implemented in real-world settings. A key focus lies on translating complex, multimodal data into actionable insights for both clinicians and end-users, thereby bridging the gap between data acquisition and meaningful intervention.
