A Sensor system for the objective detection of early cAre Needs in independently living olDeR Adults in homecare.
This feasibility study is being conducted within the framework of the SANDRA project, which aims to develop a cost-efficient and minimally invasive sensor system capable of supporting home nurses in assessing the care needs of older adults living at home. The goal of this feasibility study is to generate a list of specific requirements that the complete sensor system must meet to ensure project feasibility and to explore the current ‘as-is’ situation.
The aim of the study is to gain deeper insights into:
Which parameters must be measured to effectively map care needs;
What types of sensors and sensor combinations can be employed to measure these parameters;
The practical applicability of the solution in daily life, taking into account criteria such as user-friendliness, cost, etc.;
The applicability of sensors with respect to data collection and data signal processing.
