Rahel Caliesch
Biography
Rahel Caliesch completed her Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy in 2011 at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Western Switzerland Valais in Leukerbad. Afterwards she did a diploma in sports physiotherapy in Magglingen, Switzerland. In 2018, she completed a Master’s program at the Bern University of Applied Sciences, Department of Health Professions in Bern, Switzerland with the specialization in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and reached the OMT title. Currently, she is working at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Western Switzerland Valais in Leukerbad as a senior academic associate, cand. PhD, is involved in the methodology of systematic reviews and is teaching musculoskeletal physiotherapy. Additionally, she is working in a private physiotherapy practice in the musculoskeletal field. She joined the Rehabilitation Research (RERE) group in 2021. Her research focusses on the hip impingement and micro-instability of the hip.
