Filip Van Ginderdeuren

Filip Van Ginderdeuren graduated as Master in Rehabilitation Sciences and Physiotherapy at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Belgium in 1991. He works as a respiratory physiotherapist at the Pediatrics department of the University Hospital of Brussels (UZ Brussel). Since 2001 he is an academic assistant at the department of Rehabilitation and Physiotherapy of the faculty of Physical Education and Physiotherapy. He earned his PhD, entitled “ Effectiveness of Autogenic Drainage, Assisted Autogenic Drainage and Intrapulmonary Percussive Ventilation and the influence on gastro-oesophageal reflux in infants” in Rehabilitation Sciences and Physiotherapy at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel in June 2016. Since 2017 he was promoted as professor at the department of Rehabilitation and Physiotherapy, responsible for the “ Respiratory Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation”. Current research focusses on respiratory physiotherapy and gastro-oesophageal reflux.
